Maarouf farm is located in Behira and is run by Maarouf’s family. The four sons and their father all work together on the constant development of the farm. They were one of the pioneers in biodynamic agriculture in Egypt, beginning this journey in 1995.

Salama believes, that when you nurture the soil with love and care it gives back more. This connection to their lands is what urged them to choose such a holistic method like biodynamic agriculture, bringing them closer to their beliefs that they’re part of a bigger system and that they have an active role in affecting the people surrounding them and their environment.
