The Economy of Love (EoL) Standard values the input of stakeholders and the public in developing and refining its methodologies, protocols, and operational activities. To ensure transparency and inclusivity, we invite you to provide feedback during the designated public comment periods outlined below. All comments are reviewed by our Public Comment Review Committee, and key issues raised will be addressed in a Public Comment Response Report. Please note that comments will not be displayed publicly, but they will be carefully considered in our decision-making process.

Methodologies, Protocols, and Frameworks Under Development
We are currently seeking feedback on new methodologies, protocols, and frameworks under development, or significant revisions to existing ones. Public comment periods allow stakeholders to provide feedback on technical aspects to ensure alignment with EoL’s holistic principles.

“The EoL Registry Policy, which outlines the procedures and requirements for registering projects and activities, is currently undergoing revision. We invite stakeholders and the public to review the proposed changes and provide their feedback.”

Title: EoL Committee Framework
Public Comment Period: August 15 – September 31, 2024
Description:
“The EoL Committee Framework, which defines the structure, roles, and responsibilities of the committees overseeing the EoL Standard’s governance and decision-making processes, is in the draft stage. We welcome feedback on its clarity, effectiveness, and potential improvements.”

Activity Name: Registration of 13 group projects on the Financial regulatory authority
Public Comment Period: May 20– August 10, 2024
Description:
“EoL has introduced 13 registered projects for approval by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) in Egypt, with the goal of auctioning them on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).” The 13 projects are:

Description:
“The Safeguarding Principles: Production Criteria outlines the standards for sustainable production practices under the EoL Standard. This document will be available for public revision in early 2025, and we encourage feedback on how to strengthen the criteria and ensure it remains relevant to our mission.”
What happens Next?
After each public comment period closes, the EoL Public Comment Review Committee will review all submissions. A Public Comment Response Report will be published, summarizing the key feedback received and outlining how it was integrated into the final decisions. Additionally, we maintain public resources where stakeholders can access all finalized documents and review responses to feedback in the public comments response report.
