The Minister of Agriculture appoints Dr. Alaa Ezzouz, Head of the Agricultural Extension Sector, to represent the Minister of Agriculture at the celebrations of the farmers of the Egyptian Organic Farming Association SEKEM Autumn Festival 2024 celebrates 47 years of green innovation and community unity
– The event was also attended by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rabeh, Director of the Climate Research Institute, and a delegation of directors and officials of the Agriculture Directorate in Sharkia Governorate.

The Inaugural Faiyum Film Festival 2024
The inaugural Faiyum Film Festival 2024 brought sustainability and art together to inspire change. In a panel discussion, the team highlighted the Economy of Love (EoL) standard’s role in empowering smallholder farmers through biodynamic agriculture, fair compensation, and environmental regeneration. Collaborating with Organic Egypt Foundation, Heliopolis University, and the Center of Organic Agriculture in Egypt, we promoted sustainable farming and its vital role in protecting the planet and enhancing livelihoods.
EoL and EBDA Team Joined COP29 Azerbaijan
Contributing to critical discussions and events focused on advancing regenerative agriculture innovations at a global scale. The team actively engaged in the Evening Solutions Dialogues, co-hosted by the Future Economy Forum and Food Tank at the Action on Food Pavilion, where stakeholders explored actionable strategies for sustainable food systems. Additionally, The team participated in sessions with climate journalists, farmer roundtables, and community leaders, fostering meaningful exchanges of ideas and best practices. Through these engagements, we proudly represented the Economy of Love (EoL) standard, showcasing its dedication to sustainable agriculture, fair practices, and environmental regeneration as key pillars for building a resilient future.

First Milestone at COP16 in Riyadh
Helmy Abouleish, Chair of the Board of the Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA), and Thoraya Seada, Director of the Carbon Footprint Center (CFC), represented the Economy of Love (EoL) standard at this year’s United Nations Conference to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). Their participation highlighted the EoL standard’s pivotal role in supporting farmers, advancing sustainable agriculture, and addressing desertification through regenerative practices.

The EoL team has been successfully working on the new cosmic Agenda & Calendar that will be ready to be distributed to all our farmers for the year 2025. EoL Farmers’ Growth November, 2024
EoL extension engineers successfully registered 185 new farms in November that included 1003 farmers with a total area of 4,372 acres.
